Top 5 Natural Attractions in Branson

To say that we live in paradise would not be a stretch of the truth. Branson is one of the prettiest places we have ever seen, and we do a lot of traveling ourselves! The Ozarks offer a rugged charm that counteracts the glitzy sophistication of the strip where the stars are, with majestic mountains, mature trees, and miles of meadows, paths, and lakes. This list of the top five natural Branson tourist attractions should have the town of Branson added as an attraction in itself, but we’ll stick to the individual natural attractions for now!

Table Rock State Park, 5272 MO-165

Home to the first of our natural Branson tourist attractions, Table Rock Lake, Table Rock State Park offers a plethora of natural attractions and fun. Spend your time fishing on the lake, hiking the many trails that traverse the area, or just experiencing a moment of peace and tranquility with a picnic on the shore!

Marvel Cave

Located inside Silver Dollar City, Marvel Cave first opened for tours in 1894 and has been a hit ever since. Underwater lakes, waterfalls, and the largest cave entrance room in the nation make this an easy addition to our list of best natural tourist attractions in Branson Missouri!

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, 2038 Missouri State Highway 86

The natural beauty of Branson is exemplified in this exquisite park, landing it on our list of Branson MO tourist attractions. Dogwood Canyon Nature Parks has over 10,000 acres of lush forests, creeks, and bridges all waiting to be explored. Recent flooding, however, has closed parts of the park, but it is expected to be back at full capacity in October of 2017.

Lake Taneycomo

Created by the construction of the Power Site Dam in 1913, Lake Taneycomo is the second major lake in Branson. Offering water activities of all kinds, including bass fishing, this cold-water lake will take your breath away without entering the water!

Talking Rocks Cavern, 423 Fairy Cave Lane

Once known as the Fairy Cave (hence the street address!), Talking Rocks Cavern is a treasure amongst our tourist attractions in Branson Missouri. In addition to the standard tour (which is wonderful!), they also offer nature trails to hike on, gemstone mining, and a maze just for fun! This cave offers something of interest for all members of your family!
