The first weekend in March signals the arrival of the Branson Classic Invitational, an annual event where the nation’s best gymnasts show their stuff in order to win awards, tee shirts, and even free passes to some of our best local attractions. If you are visiting for the show, or are just here for your regularly scheduled vacation, staying in one of our Sunset Nightly Rentals vacation homes gives you better options for your vacation needs; your gymnast can keep her muscles loose, limber, and pain-free in a hot tub at one of our resort homes, and everyone can enjoy the area in between events or after it’s all over. Why not extend your trip and make it a real family vacation?
The fourth annual Branson Classic Women’s Gymnastics Invitational is scheduled for March 2-4, 2018 at the Hilton Convention Center in Branson. Located in the heart of historic downtown Branson, on 200 East Main Street, the hotel is connected to the Branson Convention Center, and Branson Landing. As a spectator, you’ll get to see over 900 women complete in the 2018 event, so be sure to reserve your space early.
The Women’s Gymnastics Invitational includes USAG Levels 1-10 including XCEL. Each gymnast will receive free admission to: Ripley's, Titanic Museum, Track Family Fun Park, Family Fun Factory, and a free event T-shirt. Awards for the event include custom medals and banners.
Thursday night-The first session begins on Friday at 3:00 PM, so flying in the day before makes the most sense, allowing you to take the time to unpack, relax, and prepare for the challenges that lie ahead. After unpacking, you can stop by the Rhodes Family Price Chopper and pick up some healthy food and snacks to sustain you and your gymnast in between matches; their reasonable prices won’t eat into your tight vacation budget. Because of the upcoming event, chances are you won’t feel like doing much tonight, but the Fountain Show at Branson Landing can be a fun way to unwind before heading back to your Sunset Nightly Rentals vacation home.
Friday- Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and just because your favorite gymnast may or may not be eating much, YOU will still need to keep your energy up, and a breakfast at the Grand Country Buffet allows all the members of your family the opportunity to choose what they want to eat. Whether you pick fresh fruits and an egg white scramble, sausage gravy over biscuits, or something else, it’s all delicious! Your gymnast may need to rush off to her teammates, so this is a good time to explore a little more; souvenir shopping at Ozarkland Native Craft can be a fun way to while away the hours.
Saturday- The opening meet begins at 8:00 AM, and awards are given out at 9:30 PM, so chances are there won’t be much chance for Branson adventuring today.
Sunday-Another full day of events from the Classic; aren’t you glad you decided to stay an extra day or two? And congratulations on your gymnast’s accomplishments this weekend—we can tell how proud you are!
Monday- Revel in sleeping in before starting a day of fun and adventure that your entire family can enjoy! Today would be a good day to spend at Silver Dollar City theme park, testing your bravery on the rides and eating all the carnival food that may not be the healthiest, but tastes so good
Why stay in a stuffy hotel when you can rent a great home instead? Sunset Nightly Rentals is proud to support the Branson Classic; stay with us, and you’ll have access to everything Branson has to offer from the comfort of a well-kept home.
