Shepherd of the Hills Fall Craft Fair

51st Annual Autumn Daze Arts, Crafts, and Music Festival

One of the longest running fall traditions here in Branson is the annual Autumn Daze Arts, Crafts, and Music Festival. This annual event takes place here in Downtown Branson, and this year will be its 51st consecutive year. This three-day event is not to be confused with Shepherd of the Hills Fall Craft Fair, as it offers more than just crafts. Over 100 vendors will be on hand to provide live art demonstrations, local goods, delicious food, and much more. This year’s event will be bringing in vendors all the way from Colorado to Florida so you can shop around. You will also find some of the best “mom and pop” shops so you can support local businesses. Expect the vendors to have items such as clothing, jewelry, furniture, lions, soaps, décor, quilts, and much more for your home. You can also catch live music each day of the event over on the Entertainer’s Stage located on Commercial Street. This year’s performers come from a wide variety of genres, including rock and roll, bluegrass, jazz, and more. There will be plenty of children’s activities too for the youngsters to have some fun. The 51st Annual Autumn Daze Festival will take place Thursday September 19th through Saturday September 21st opening at 9:00 AM every day.

Silver Dollar City’s Harvest Festival

There really is no shortage of fall related events here in Branson. When you head over to Silver Dollar City, you can enjoy their Harvest Festival taking place each fall season. Walk around the amusement park to take in the vivid colors of red, yellow, and orange in the leaves. Take in the smells of delicious pumpkin and apple treats from the food vendors. You can also enjoy thrilling rides such as the Outlaw Run and Time Traveler that are local favorites. After the sun sets, the Pumpkins in the City show will take place where thousands of pumpkins will light up including some that are over 30 feet tall. The Garden of Giants is open all hours and features truly humongous pumpkins grown in the area—some weighing over 1,000 pounds! Additional features of the Harvest Fest include having craftsmen from all over the country coming to the festival to sell their wares, a Cowboy Camp that features cooking demonstrations, and the Cowboy Emporium, where you can meet a variety of authors and artists. The Harvest Festival will be taking over Silver Dollar City before you know it! The Harvest Festival runs from September 13th through October 26th for a full month and a half of fall fun, see you there!
