Baldknobbers Jamboree

Branson’s first show, The Baldknobbers Jamboree, began the Branson family entertainment phenomenon in 1959 when the four Mabe brothers began entertaining visitors on the Branson lake front. Celebrating their 5th Successful Season in 2008, The Hamner Barber Variety Show features the award winning illusions of The Hamners, the amazing vocal comedy of ventriloquist Jim Barber, and a talented cast of dancers and singers.

The Hamners are famous for their magical exotic bird act in which dozens of beautiful macaws, cockatoos and doves appear and fly above the audience. NBC's "World's Greatest Magic," and Trinity Broadcasting Network have featured these incredible performers.

Jim Barber is considered one of the world's great ventriloquists. Jim has been featured on many national television shows including a recent appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman."

Mickey Gilley Show

 Easily the best two hours of music and comedy to be found is the Mickey Gilley Show.

Mickey Gilley, whose thirty-nine hit songs --- of which seventeen went to the top of the country charts --- made him the legend he is today.

His top-rated, award-winning eight piece band, which includes three horn players and his two excellent backup singers, jumps right in as Mickey takes his audience through a musical medley of his string of Number One hits.

With the magic he's held over audience for over two decades, Mickey has all the moves down as the cameras flash. Always the showman, Mickey shows that he's every bit the storyteller as he recounts his days of growing up in Ferriday, Louisiana and the adventures he shared with his cousins and fellow keyboard-players, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart.

The fact he's most proud of is having a street named after him in Ferriday before his famous cousins did.

Mickey's comically expressive sidekick, rubber-faced Joey Riley, playfully bashes straight man Mickey who slings back his own barbs. Their hilarious ad-libbing has them both doubled over enough through the show where they have to stop for a few minutes to gather themselves together again. Nestled in the center of the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum, the intimate, 325-seat Happy Trails Theater is home to Roy Rogers Jr. and The High Riders. Dusty and his band perform the music made famous by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, beloved icons of Western culture and traditional family values. Tall Timber Lumberjack Dinner Show
