The Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure in Branson

This majestic white building is nestled high on a hill located at the west end of the Strip in Branson. The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure is a unique interactive, educational, and entertaining attraction that is perfect for all ages.

At the Butterfly Palace, you see more than 50 to 60 different butterfly species from around the world. This butterfly showcase is constantly changing, as nearly 500 butterflies in chrysalis stage are placed in the palace every week.

During the Rainforest Adventure, visitors learn about the importance of the butterflies on the environment, including their impact on plants and birds. Kids can continue their rainforest journey by adventuring through the Emerald Mirror Maze and the Banyon Tree Adventure.

Within the Emerald Mirror Maze, you will walk through the twists and turns of a rainforest and test your navigational skills with the experience! Banyon Tree Adventure is another maze where you’ll find the rope “vines” that simulate the roots of the Banyon Tree. Travel through this adventure that is full of rocks, fallen pillars, and hundreds of vines.

One of our personal favorite Branson, Missouri tourist attractions,The Living Rainforest Science Center, offers guests interactive activities, including a virtual frog dissection and an up close look at butterfly wings. Check out the rainforest inhabitants, including salamanders, geckos, and other reptiles and amphibians.
