On May of each year, once most of Branson’s live shows have wrapped up for the night, ShindigNation holds its annual flash mob line dance of the Shindig Shuffle. This year, the event will be held on the night of May 27th at 10:30pm on the sidewalks along Highway 76, with participation from Branson’s live show stars, employees in the area, local residents, families, friends, and even visitors. Folks turn on their car radios and outside speakers to My 100.1 FM for the song, which plays at 10:30pm, 10:35pm, and 10:40pm.
Anyone and everyone are welcome to join in! You can learn the dance from the instructional video at ozarkmountainshindig.com, or even attend lessons held at 1:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Hughes Brothers Theatre throughout April and May prior to the event. There’s even a lesson on the Friday before the event at 6:00pm!
