Fireworks will light up the sky this coming July 4, 2016 in Branson, Missouri, as the city celebrates America’s birthday in style every year. From concerts to beautiful fireworks displays, picnics and barbecues, Branson offers something for everyone. Branson’s celebration of America’s Independence Day starts out in style.
Celebrate Independence Day early at the Branson Landing’s Liberty Light Up on July 3rd. Featuring a concert with multiple bands, as well as a fantastic fireworks display over Lake Taneycomo, you won’t want to miss this annual Branson treat!
Also happening July 3rd and 4th, visit the Shepard of the Hills Outdoor Theater for an Ozarks tradition dating back to 1959. Over 80 actors bring the play to life, along with over 40 horses, sheep, and even an actual burning log cabin. And since its Independence Day, there will of course be fireworks afterwards!
For the athletic-minded individuals, The Firecracker 5000 is a wonderful tradition. Join hundreds of participants for a 5k or 10k race along the banks of Lake Taneycomo; if you’re not up for the big run, sign up for the one mile run/walk along the length of the Branson Landing.
